Gwalini's dream

Gwalini's dream

A Gwalini was going to the market with a jug of milk on his head to sell milk.

As he went on, his mind became very happy. He started thinking, 'The money I get from selling this milk can buy at least 300 eggs. If you start a chicken farm with those eggs, you will get at least two and a half hundred chickens even if some are lost. When chicken prices are at their highest, these chickens will be ready for sale. At the end of the year, I will buy a cow with the money that accumulates in my hand. In the next year, one cow will become another cow. Thus in five years I will have many cows. Then I will become the richest man in the village.'

As he was thinking, he suddenly tripped over a stone. The milk jug with him fell on the ground and broke. All the milk spilled on the road. And all the wonderful plans are over.

Lesson of the story: It is dangerous to think of something else as you go along. There is risk of loss.
