Tiger And Donkey Story For Kids

Tiger And Donkey

A tiger and a donkey met one day. "The grass is blue," the donkey informed the tiger. No, the grass is green, the tiger corrected.

A furious dispute eventually erupted between the two. Nobody is paying attention to anyone. They finally showed up for judgment before Singha, the ruler of the jungle.

The donkey started calling, "Your Majesty, Your Majesty, tell me whether the color of the grass is blue or not," before it arrived to the lion in the royal court. The lion acknowledged that the grass was indeed blue in color.

The donkey rushed up to the lion and said, "The tiger is arguing and annoying me; it is not listening to me." Maharaj, punish him.

The lion then declared that the tiger's punishment would be to be silent for five years.

The donkey exclaimed, "The grass is blue, the grass is blue," as it began to leap joyfully.

While the tiger dutifully accepted his penalty, he questioned the lion, saying, "King, I know the grass is green, so why did you punish me?"

Indeed, the grass is green, the lion remarked.

Thus, the tiger inquired, "Why did you punish me?"
