3 Unique Short Stories for Kids

1. One day the cat and the fox made a pact with the king of the forest, the lion. According to the agreement, the three of them will hunt together from now on. The prey will share equally what is found.

This agreement is because if three people hunt together, no one has to go without food.

The decision is that the cat will keep an eye on the forest. When it sees prey, it will move towards it and identify itself.

The other two will keep an eye on the cat from behind. After the cat has finished the introduction, the fox will come out of hiding and howl. The animal will then become frightened. Will try to run away. Then the fox will chase him.

The animal will then run straight to avoid the fox and fall into the hands of the lion. The lion will then make his move with one blow.

As planned they hunted a deer. Then the cat, the fox, the lion sat down to share.

The lion asked the cat to divide it into three.

The cat was very happy to hear the lion's proposal. He thought to himself that the lion had shown him great honor by giving him the responsibility of dividing the prey.

Anyway the cat very carefully divided the deer into three equal parts. Then he said to the fox and the lion, 'The division is over. Now you two please take your share.'

Hearing the cat, the lion looked at the parts. Then he said, 'Then according to you the share of the three of us should be equal. right? Did you think that your chattering with the deer and my hunting are the same?'

By saying this, the lion jumped on the cat and ate him. Then told the fox to divide the deer exactly in two.

Seeing the fate of the cat, the fox trembled in fear. With great difficulty he managed himself and sat down to share.

That is to say, he left the whole of the deer to the lion and kept a little for himself. Requested the lion to take the bigger share.

The lion was very happy to see the fox sharing. Said, 'Who taught you such a wonderful and fair division technique?'

'I learned to share myself, sir,' said the fox politely, 'having seen the fate of the cat a little while ago.'

Saying this, the fox left in front of the lion. And he decided in his heart that he will not take the lion with him for any work in the future.

2. One day the wolf's body became very bad. Couldn't move at all. He was also unable to gather prey due to his inability to move. So a snare was made to hunt animals.

A sheep was passing by the wolf. The wolf called him and requested him to fetch water from a nearby spring. The wolf begged and said, 'The body is very bad. Just bring a bucket of water. I can arrange the meat myself.'

Hearing the cry of the wolf, the sheep said, 'Well done. I bring the water and you finish the work of gathering the meat with me.'

3. Friends, you must know that fox is considered to be the smartest among animals. And the goat is said to be the most stupid. One day a fox fell into a well. Despite many efforts, he could not get out of that well. Meanwhile, a goat got very thirsty at that time. The goat turned around and came to the side of the well.

Seeing the fox in the well, he asked if there was water for the well to drink. The fox then suppressed his plight and filled his face with a cheeky smile and praised the water of the well in many ways. He said, 'The water of this well is so sweet that you will not get such water anywhere around. You come down and drink the water of life; No one will tell you anything.'

The goat jumped into the well after falling in love with the fox's sweet words. He thanked the fox after drinking his fill of water.

At this time the fox told him that they were trapped. He made a proposal to the goat to get rid of this danger. He said, 'If you lift your front legs and stand upright against the wall of the well and keep your head down, I will run on your back and get out of the well. Once I get out I can help you get rescued.'

The goat immediately stood up as suggested by the fox without thinking. The fox jumped on the goat's back. Grabbed his horn and straightened himself up. Then he came out of the well safely and ran to escape without a moment's delay.

Seeing this, the goat got angry.

Seeing the goat angry, the fox shouted, 'You fool, if you had the same amount of intelligence in your head as the hair on your body, you would not have jumped down without fixing the way up. Don't push yourself into danger from which you don't know any way to escape.'
