Sirko and his wolf friend
Sirko and his wolf friend
A man lived in the village with his wife and children. He lived with a dog named Circo. Sirko has been with his master for many years. Due to his age, he cannot guard the house as he used to. As a punishment for not being able to work, Sirko was thrown out of the house one day by his boss.
'How many years have I served the master. Now I am old. Dayamaya did not borrow, the boss threw me out of the house! People are so cruel!'
Thinking about these things, Sirko was running in his mind. Suddenly, a wolf appeared in front of him.
'I say you are moving around like this, tell me what your story is, Bapu.' Curious, the wolf approached Sirko. There is a kinship with the dog breed. Maybe it's because of that urge that the wolf is a bit mesmerized by seeing Sirko wandering around for a long time.
'The boss threw me out of the house seeing that I was no longer useful. I have nowhere to go.' Sirko replied in a sad voice.
The wolf was upset after hearing, 'I can help you. If you can do the work as I say, be sure, the boss will give you shelter again at home.'
'Please wolf brother! Show me the way out of this danger.' Sirko almost cried, 'If you do this favor, I will try to repay it.'
'Well, listen carefully. Soon your master and his wife will go to the field to harvest. To help her husband in his work, the master's wife will also put their baby to sleep on the haystack. But you have to keep the bed near the baby, so that I can easily understand where the baby is sleeping. If the boss and his wife are busy, I will go there and pick up the baby. You will then come out of hiding and try to snatch the baby from my face. Pretend to scare me a little. I will pretend to be scared and throw the baby out of my mouth and run away.'
When the crops of the field ripened, Sirko's master went to the field with his wife and children. The wife put the child to sleep near the field and started helping her husband in harvesting.
On the other hand, seeing the peeping ears of Sirko, who was snoring on the other side of the haystack as the wolf said, the wolf did not take too long to understand where the child was. The wolf went there and gave up the child and ran. Sirko ran after the wolf barking. Seeing such a terrible incident, the boss forgot everything and said to Sirko, 'Catch him Sirko!'
Sirko ran and snatched the cub from the wolf's mouth and handed it back to the master. Overwhelmed with gratitude, the master gave Sirko a piece of bread and meat to eat. In the evening he took Sirko with him as he left for home.
On returning home, the master gave Sirko hot food. Sirko's tongue got burnt while eating that food in a hurry. Everyone laughed at that.
As a reward for saving the child, Sirko again found refuge in the master's house. Sirko did not forget that it was possible because of his friend the wolf. He began to think about how to repay his friend's favor.
On the occasion of the daughter's marriage, great food is arranged one day. Sirko went to the field and invited the wolf, 'Listen, brother, next Sunday evening you come to our vegetable garden and sit down. I will come on time and take you quietly inside the house. Food is well organized. Dip your wrist and eat it! I hope I can repay your kindness by eating well. '
According to Sirko, on the day of the wedding, the wolf sits in the vegetable garden. Sirko sneaks the wolf inside the house, avoiding everyone's eyes. Then hides under the table. Take some of the food from all the fun dishes that have been arranged for the guests and give it to the wolf hiding under the table.
In no time, the wolf stopped talking. Sirko brings the food again with everyone's eyes averted. Again he chattered and ate it all. At one point Sirko was going to beat the guests on the back while feeding the wolf.
The boss saw it and stopped them and said, 'Please don't beat him. Sirko has bound us in gratitude for saving my child from the wolves. Everyone is requested to see him as a member of this family.'
After getting permission from the master to taste the food as desired, sirkor to poabaro. He continued to spread good pieces of meat, pies, cakes, sweets on the floor of the table. After eating so much, the wolf's stomach was not only full, but his mind was also filled with happiness. When very happy, the wolf tends to sing again.
The guests are startled by the noiseless howl that comes out of the wolf's mouth instead of the tune. He started running around in panic. Many started looking for a stick to kill the wolf. Not seeing the advantage, Sirko jumped on the wolf himself. His thinking is that he will not kill the boy today!
On the other hand, the boss asked the angry and restless guests to calm down and said, 'Everyone calm down. No one should go to kill the wolf, as there is a risk of wounding Sirko's back. Sirco alone is enough to tame Bader's bony wolf.'
Sirko dragged the wolf into the field. He said, 'You did me a favor once. Today I have returned the favor, my friend. You run away quickly.'
After that, the two friends bid farewell to each other and walk towards the bright wedding hall, the other across the field towards the distant forest.
