The lion, the bear and the clever fox

The lion, the bear and the clever fox

The lion and the bear saw a calf at the same time. 'I have seen it before, so this is mine,' said the bear. The lion said - 'No, I have seen it before, so it is mine.' The two started fighting together.

A fox was silently watching their fight from a distance. When both the lion and the bear were exhausted after fighting, the fox ran off with the calf. The bear and the lion looked at each other. They had no more strength then.

'How foolish we are. If we had shared food instead of fighting ourselves, then today there would be no calf on the forehead of the fox' - they said sadly.

Advice: All the hard work is not always profitable.
