Ants and Grasshoppers

Ants and Grasshoppers

On a fine summer's day the grasshopper was singing, dancing and playing with his violin to his heart's content. Suddenly he saw an ant struggling to carry food. The grasshopper said to the ant, 'Why are you suffering so much, brother? Come let's play, sing, dance'.

Now is the time to stockpile supplies for the winter. The ant suggested to his friend, "Don't waste time and gather food."

"Hey, it's still too late for winter, don't worry about that," replied the grasshopper with a smile.

Without saying a word, the ant took the food and left for his home.

At the end of summer, winter came. The hungry grasshopper came to the ant's house trembling.

"Give me something to eat, brother" - said the grasshopper to the ant.

If you had listened to me that day, you would not have come to me today and would not have suffered from hunger," said the ant and closed the door.

Advice: It is wise to be prepared for the dangers.
